摘要: Studies with dopamine (DA) receptor antagonists have implicated brain DA systems in the increased grooming behaviour elicited by intracerebroventricular (i.c.v.) administration of ACTH or exposure to a novel environment. To evaluate potential contributions terminals innervating frontal cortex and nucleus accumbens, stereotaxically guided injections 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) were made into these regions rat following peripheral desmethylimipramine pargyline. Despite an 88% mean reduction DA, 68% noradrenaline cortex, amount observed either cage, after i.c.v. injection ACTH1–24 was not detectably altered. The lesions also did affect locomotor activity measured during scoring grooming, open field, photocell cages, running wheel, even animals most severely depleted DA. Following accumbens 6-OHDA infusions, depletions as great 99% obtained. Animals greater than 90% showed expected attenuation amphetamine-stimulated activity. Nevertheless, they exhibited normal scores response ACTH1–24. It is concluded that dopaminergic probably those are necessary for expression novelty- ACTH-induced grooming.
