摘要: Raman spectroscopy has been utilized to characterize the phase transformations and transition pressures in pure doped zirconia containing 3, 4, 5 wt% Y/sub 2/O/sub 3/. The pressure-induced were investigated over 6 GPa (at room temperature) using a diamond anvil pressure cell. Pure single-crystal samples transformed ''new'' tetragonal (different from one obtained at high temperatures atmospheric pressure) about 4 GPa. transformation, like temperature transition, was reversible exhibited an approximately 0.45-GPa hysteresis temperature. 3 3/ crystals underwent monoclinic (P2/sub 1/b) (P4/sub 2/nmc) similar that observed temperatures.
