Structure, luminescence properties and energy transfer of Tb3+–Eu3+ codoped LiBaB9O15 phosphors

摘要: A series of single-composition phosphors LiBaB9O15:Tb3+,Eu3+ have been prepared via a high-temperature solid-state reaction process. The structure and luminescence properties are described. LiBaB9O15:Tb3+ phosphor shows characteristic green emission, with the peak located at 551 nm, which corresponds to 5D4 → 7F5 transition Tb3+. LiBaB9O15:Eu3+ presents an obvious red 617 is ascribed 5D0 7F2 Eu3+. highly intense emission peaks Eu3+ ions were attributed effective energy transfer from Tb3+ in LiBaB9O15:Tb3+,Eu3+, has verified through spectra fluorescence decay dynamics. results mean that might potential applications as emitting for white LEDs.
