Energy transfer from UO22+ to Sm3+ in phosphate glass

摘要: Abstract Energy transfer from UO22+ to Sm3+ is described. The efficiencies are calculated the decrease of donor luminescence and lifetimes increase acceptor fluorescence. It shown that nonradiative. energy greater when excited at higher levels due stronger overlap between electronic Sm3+. From comparison Eu3+ it deduced excitation a sufficient condition for transfer.
