摘要: The retention behavior of rat blood platelets on poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) derivatives with various types amino groups was investigated. Blood platelet amino-containing PHEMA surfaces found to be mainly driven through electrostatic interaction, as indicated by results obtained when the surrounding pH changed. Of interest, dramatically minimized small but definite amounts cationic groups. This minimum cannot explained only interaction; it might due reduced contribution non-electrostatic interaction between and polymer surfaces. Thermal analyses swollen films showed that water content, especially content in free state, drastically increased introducing increase may reduce resulting retention.
