摘要: Intra-axial pseudotumors in the central nervous system often mimic malignant brain tumors and cause difficulty diagnosis treatment. The present study investigates their radiologic histological features to elucidate diagnostic clues. Six cases were included study, one man five women, ranging age from 44 87 years (mean age, 61 years). Histologically, three had demyelination, case each abscess, angiitis, non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis. All evaluated radiologically on MRI, most of them by thallim-201 single photon emission tomography (201Tl-SPECT). These examined using H&E, special stains, immunohistochemical studies with a variety antibodies. MRI demonstrated perifocal edema ring-like or solid enhancement, mimicking tumors. Diffusionweighted showed hypo-iso-intensity hyperintensity apparent diffusion coefficient. A 201Tl-SPECT revealed no uptake. Although there various kinds pathology, inflammatory cells observed, associated vascular proliferation reactive astrocytosis. In addition, some demyelinating destructive changes. results suggested that intra-axial contain detailed clinicopathological analysis is important point view differential diagnosis.
