Intracranial Demyelinating Pseudotumor: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

摘要: Demyelinating pseudotumor is a rare inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system (CNS) that has similar clinical presentation and computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings as brain tumors or abscesses. Unlike tumors, pseudotumors respond well to steroid hormones. There are only few reported cases intracranial in literature. In this case report, we present diagnosis treatment patient whose condition was initially misdiagnosed an astrocytoma.
