摘要: A unique transfer RNA has been identified in human and bovine mitochondria that lacks the "dihydrouridine" loop stem structure. This tRNA is mitochondrially coded as shown by DNA sequence analysis of mitochondrial DNA. Sequence shows it post-transcriptionally modified addition CCA at 3' terminus least one base modified. As predicted its anticodon (GCU, corresponding to serine codons AGU/C) this can be aminoacylated with when purified are incubated a medium containing 3H-serine.
