摘要: This study aimed at comparing six patch connectivity measures by fitting them to field data. We used occupancy data for eight beetle and two pseudoscorpion species from 281 hollow oaks in southeast Sweden. Species was modelled relation tree characteristics one measure of a time. For each we searched the spatial scale that generated best fit Connectivity only include occupied patches provided better model fits than those all patches. When are absent surrounding habitat patches, information reflects occurrence probabilities can be included measure. However, this incorporation such resulted slight improvement fit. A frequently based on negative exponential function relatively poor explaining species’ occurrence; out nine buffer better. obtained when modified take into account may ‘‘compete’’ immigrants. The with tended larger which dispersal sources identified lower precision. Thus, outcomes different multiple-scale studies not directly comparable if density is measured same way. Overall conclude useful, as they give good predictions easy understand use. If biologically more realistic needed, up-weights closest should used. Finally, possibility compete other immigrants considered selecting
