Wave Propagation on Beam‐Plate Systems

摘要: Formulas for the attenuation of bending waves that travel over a beam‐plate system, containing one or several beams, are derived and compared with measurements. It is found beam gives an which very small near resonances rather high elsewhere, but in average wide frequency bands appears to go nearly like square root frequency. The addition beams same material dimensions does not give appreciable increase attenuation. force impedance mean‐square velocity systems also given. Finally, damping by plate attached it discussed.
