摘要: A modeling study of the Allt a Mharcaidh catchment in Cairngorm region Scotland has been undertaken to investigate long term trends acidification and model sensitivity soil physical chemical characteristics. The MAGIC (Model Acidification Groundwater In Catchments) is used demonstrate that sulphate adsorption ability quality quantity rainfall inputs have significant effects on output. Optimal weathering rates predicted present day ion concentrations streamwater compare well with measured observed values. analysis shows become progressively acidified since pre-industrial times but major changes stream acidity yet occur.
