摘要: An important indicator of the quality hydrochemical simulation models is their ability to be used in a wide range catchment types. The Birkenes Model, built primarily upon data from small basin southern Norway, was simulate highland Scottish with physical and chemical characteristics very different those at Birkenes. hydrological signals were simulated compared observations results earlier simulations. indicate that basic processes are qualitatively represented current model it possible for varying broad trends stream concentrations all major anions cations reproduced. Although short-term variations not equally well, strengthen confidence predictions Model even though highly simplified description complicated system. modeling procedure described offering other researchers method adapting an acid precipitation own catchment.
