摘要: This study assessed the mucosal immune response in healthy adult volunteers immunized parenterally with either pneumococcal polysaccharide (N = 8) or polysaccharide-protein conjugate 10) vaccine an aim to evaluate relevance of antibody secreting cell (ASC) after parenteral vaccination. An ASC four types capsular tested was observed all vaccinees 7–9 days immunization. IgA predominant class response, and IgG next common, very few IgM ASCs. The IgAIgG ratio higher immunization than vaccine. Antibodies were frequently seen saliva already before immunization; especially serotypes 14 19F. A twofold increase type specific secretory antibodies found eight 16 instances which > 100 per 106 cells only one 52 fewer We conclude that peripheral blood is a useful parameter vaccines good indicator saliva.
