摘要: The present study was undertaken to investigate changes in the crystalline structure and composition of procine enamel mineral during amelogenesis. Special attention given carbonate location forming apatite crystal. Enamel samples were obtained from outer (young) secretory, inner (old) maturation, mature (hard) permanent incisors slaughtered piglets. these studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, chemical analyses. initial secretory rich acid phosphate carbonate. mainly substituted for groups crystals early (outer) enamel. Developmental advancement (as well as maturation) stages brought about significant crystal parameters, namely, shrinkage expansion thec anda unit cell dimensions, respectively, shift av3 PO4 band higher wavenumbers FTIR spectrum. diffraction patterns indicated that mineralization tissue maturation characterized by a gradual growth parallel thea-axis direction. A most prominent finding that, with developmental advancement, decrease CO3 per mass P (or Ca) tissue, concomitant increase occupying OH sites lattice became apparent. overall results may reflect (1) medium which precipitation carbonatoapatite occurs, (2) formation an such octacalcium phosphate-like mineral, or (3) modifications precipitating phase induced kinetics formation.
