摘要: Purpose: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a severe and common complication that occurs after the major operation. Despite commonality of DVT there limited data on incidence kidney transplantation (KT). Furthermore, most studies have been retrospective in design were conducted western countries. The aim this study was to evaluate lower extremity with mechanical thromboprophylaxis within 1 month KT Korea. Methods: A total 187 consecutive patients who underwent included study. Patients used graduated elastic stocking (n = 93) or an intermittent pneumatic compression device 94) prevent DVT. frequency during first evaluated using serial color duplex ultrasound postoperative days 7 ± 2, 14 28 3. All tested for eight thrombophilic factors before KT. Results: occurred four (2.1%) developed group. Interestingly, none had factor V Leiden mutation prothrombin gene 20210A mutation. Conclusion: relatively than populations. We did not encounter our population. These findings suggest inherited risk may be partially responsible difference rates between different nationalities and/or ethnicities.
