摘要: Sweet sorghum (Sorghum Bicolor (L) Moench) is a potential alternative to sugarcane for dry areas and may serve as substrate bio-alcohol production (Tuck et al. 2006) while producing grain human consumption and/or feed. Moreover drought heat resistant thus well adapted conditions brought about by climate fluctuations (Borrell 2000). Recent research indicated that many West African cultivars produce large stock of sucrose not mobilized filling; diverse germplasm available desirable traits dual purpose sorghums (sugar X grain, Reddy 2007). However, sweetness complex trait, highly prone GxE (Genotype x Environment) interactions are still poorly understood, its competition with filling. A study was recently initiated provide functional analysis the control accumulation in stems The present focuses on analysis, contrasted or manipulated (pruned, sterile) genotypes, variability ability accumulate maintaining grain.
