摘要: The ”Indigenous Cucumis Technologies” (ICTs) were researched and developed for the management of plant-parasitic nematodes, particularly Meloidogyne species, in an attempt to alleviate void created by withdrawal synthetic nematicides from agro-chemical markets drawbacks associated with use conventional organic matter as a nematode practice. Currently, ICTs comprises four technology types, namely (1) ground leaching, (2) resistance, (3) inter-generic grafting (4) fermented crude extracts. ICTs, their various forms, consistently suppressed numbers improved crop yields experimental trials carried out Limpopo Province, Republic South Africa. present paper reviews decade successful research development root-knot nematodes low-input agricultural farming systems.   Key words: Cucumis species, extract, leaching technology, grafting, resistance.
