High Energy Gamma-Rays and Jet Showers

摘要: Four stacks of emulsion and heavy mnterial were flown at about 220 g/cm/ sup 2/, 3 similar composition on balloons altitudes ranging from 8 to 28 g/cm/sup 2/. Integral energy spectra both nuclear events gamma rays each altitude are shown. The expected muon spectrum calculated the rate production is compared with measurements spectrum; no discrepancy appears. (A.G.W.)
