摘要: The M protein of group A Streptococcus (GAS) is the major virulence factor and coded by emm gene. current serologic typing methods are now being replaced alternate means type deduction such as gene sequencing. This first report types GAS which prevalent in south India. We found no marked preponderance any single sequence among our clinical isolates with 11 sequences present 34 isolates.
