摘要: Open abdomen (OA) has been an effective treatment for abdominal catastrophes in traumatic and general surgery. However, management of patients with OA remains a formidable task surgeons. The central goal is closure fascial defect as early clinically feasible without precipitating compartment syndrome. Historically, techniques such packing, mesh, vacuum-assisted have developed to assist temporary closure, components separation, mesh-mediated traction, bridging permanent synthetic or biologic mesh also attempted achieve primary either alone combined use. objective this review present the challenges these when patient's physiological condition allows.
