摘要: Because high plasma concentrations of homocysteine constitute an enhanced risk for premature coronary heart disease, it is necessary to establish a reference range normal homocysteine. The frequency distribution tails the right, and nonparametric approach unsatisfactory defining range. By using subjects' responses appropriate vitamin supplementation, we developed mathematical prediction model calculate concentration that could be expected each individual treated with supplement. With this model, can predict will 95% (mean +/- 2 SD) 4.9-11.7 mumol/L, provided status study population improved.
