摘要: Strain differences in spontaneous locomotor activity and the behavioral patterns induced by dopaminergic agonists rodents can disclose differential genetic susceptibilities to dysfunction (i.e. vulnerability psychosis). Psychogenetic selection of hypoemotional Roman High-Avoidance (RHA) hyperemotional Low-Avoidance (RLA) rats leads divergence function as well. The present study was designed characterize their responses apomorphine (0.067-3 mg/kg, s.c.) compared those standard Sprague-Dawley (SD) strain. strains displayed higher than SD RHA exhibited response novelty which agrees with a sensitivity this biphasic effect (locomotor inhibition yawning at low doses but stimulation locomotion stereotyped behavior ones) reproduced Low were less effective inducing whereas these animals much more sensitive high dose-induced behavior. In contrast, RLA characterized high-yawning strain also striking motor suggesting functional enhancement dopamine receptors mediating behaviors. detailed distinctive profiles described work suggest between both presynaptic postsynaptic may serve paths better specify mechanisms future studies risk developing dysfunctions.
