摘要: Objectives. We explored the relative effects of 2 awareness components—exposure and attention—on racial/ethnic differences in HIV vaccine trial among men who have sex with (MSM).Methods. Surveys assessing attitudes toward trials were administered to 1723 MSM 6 US cities. Proxy measures exposure included use resources other health care services, community involvement, income, residence. Attention proxy research attitudes, susceptibility, message fatigue. Using logistic regression models, we assessed extent which these proxies accounted for awareness.Results.
