摘要: A plurality of circumferentially displaced hollow members are positioned between an outer bypass duct and the center body core engine. Each is open at radially outward end thereof for receiving relatively cool gas from duct. member formed with opening in side extending substantially full length near trailing edge discharging a direction facilitating thorough mixing gases. pivoted vane provided this each these vanes controlled to vary airflow through aforementioned openings. Radially spraybars or fuel rods within adjacent opposite sides so as be cooled by air flowing member. The openings sidewalls corresponding walls that fuel, during augmentor operation, directed into area members. aft wide flat surface which acts flameholder supplied burned augmentor. forward curved angle generally swirl gases exhausted engine effect deswirling gas.
