摘要: Di-n-butyltin dichloride (DBTC) has been shown to be immunotoxic rats. After feeding DBTC for several weeks, thymus and spleen weights were markedly reduced. As a consequence T cell-dependent immune responses suppressed (Seinen et al 1979). Thymus atrophy seems caused by direct action of the tin compound since it was not stress-mediated (Penninks 1985) number viability bone marrow cells affected A single oral dose also marked reduction weights, which maximal 4 days after dosing. Histologically, weight associated with severe loss cortical lymphocytes. Initially, diminished large thymocytes in first 2 exposure. Subsequently, intermediate small decreased at day 3 It concluded from these findings that DBTC-induced is thymic lymphocytes (Snoeij 1988 a). In this study, immunohistochemical methods are used further characterize atrophy.
