摘要: Cardiovascular disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with hypertension. Epidemiological clinical studies have shown that damage large conduit arteries contributory factor [1]. Macrovascular develops slowly hypertensive responsible for the high incidence congestive heart failure, left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH), ischemic disease, sudden death, cerebrovascular accidents peripheral artery diseases. Although most frequent underlying these complications occlusive lesions due to atheromatous plaques, this aspect represents only one form structural response metabolic hemodynamic alterations which interfere process. The spectrum arterial hypertension broader, including associated burden [2]. consequences may be different from those attributed presence atherosclerotic plaques alone. In chapter, basic concepts on changes structure function are reviewed their blockade renin-angiotensin system discussed experimental situations.
