摘要: High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV-Vis Diode Array Detection (DAD) and electrospray mass spectrometric (ESI-MS) method was utilized for the identification of coloring components madder, Armenian Mexican cochineal, lac dye, brazilwood, safflower dragon blood - probably most important red natural dyestuffs found in objects cultural heritage. detection limits range 0.2-0.6 ng carminic acid, alizarin purpurin were achieved using a gradient elution H 2 O-0.01%TFA CH 3 CN-0.01%TFA. ESI spectrometer also used, as supportive to standard DAD, further analysis tested materials, ability analyze small one milligram. The presence madder revealed two historical (Hellenistic Roman period) samples, Mediterranean area, by identifying both them. Munjistin identified samples while not detected, raising questions regarding exact type, samples.
