摘要: The evaluation of headache in patients with transient ischemic attacks (TIA) has various sources difficulty, the definition TIA being most relevant. classical needs to be supplemented a normal CT scan if misleading diagnostic statement is avoided. clinical features 90 suffering from and who had contrast-enhanced scans are reported. Headache occurred 30% patients. prevailed vertebrobasilar compared carotid (p less than 0.05). as preceding (24 h) and/or concomitant sign other neurological symptoms (77.8% patients). was ipsilateral, anterior half head posterior TIA. In about 50% generalized non-localized occurred. usually preceded cases arterial occlusion (20 carotid, 3 vertebral artery), appearing during or after attack without occlusion. Only 2 out 20 positive headache. These two suffered rather large hypodense lesion. 18 showed lacunar lesions. Different hypotheses concerning physiopathology associated discussed.
