摘要: Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a cerebrovascular disease with temporary (<24 h) neurological symptoms. The symptoms of TIA patients are largely similar to those stroke and include unilateral limb weakness, speech disturbances, sensory symptoms, visual gait difficulties. As these transient, they frequently evaluated based on patients' subjective reports, which less precise than whose longer-lasting signs can be reliably assessed by physicians. Some such as monocular blindness, much more common in stroke, shaking occurs almost exclusively patients. On the other hand, like hemivisual field defects or ataxia underappreciated These transient not necessarily caused diseases, but produced variety non-vascular diseases. Careful history taking, examination, appropriate imaging tests needed differentiate mimics from TIA. Each symptom has different specificity sensitivity, there been an effort assess outcome through use specific clinical features. top this, recent developments techniques have greatly enhanced our ability predict outcomes Perception recognition may differ according race, sex, education, specialty Appropriate education both general population physicians regard important TIAs need emergent evaluation treatment.
