摘要: Abstract Resting state networks’ (RSNs) architecture is well delineated in mature brain, but our understanding of their development remains limited. Particularly, there are few longitudinal studies. Besides, all existing evidence obtained using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and no data on electrophysiological correlates RSN maturation. We acquired three yearly waves resting EEG 80 children between 7 9 years 55 adults. Children’s parents filled the Effortful Control (EC) scale. Seed-based oscillatory power envelope correlation conjunction with beamformer spatial filtering was used to obtain signatures default mode network (DMN) two task-positive networks (TPN). In line fMRI evidence, both cross-sectional comparison adults analysis showed that general pattern maturation consisted an increase long-distance connections posterior cortical regions a decrease short within prefrontal areas. Latent growth curve EC scores were predicted by linear over time DMN integrity alpha band segregation TPN beta band. These confirm neural basis observed research maturation-related changes show sufficient level prerequisite for appropriate attentional behavioral control.
