摘要: Retrograde and transganglionic transport of horseradish peroxidase conjugated to the B-fragment cholera toxin (B-HRP) was used study location, morphology, central projections mesencephalic trigeminal (Me5) neurons innervating rat masticatory muscles. Labeled Me5 cell bodies were found throughout nucleus from a level slightly caudal motor superior colliculus 5 mm further rostrally. Occasionally, labeled cells observed in anterior medullary velum, cerebellum, brainstem contralateral B-HRP injection. The vast majority pseudounipolar, but multipolar also found. Extensive could be seen extending Darkschewitsch rostrally C2 segment caudally. Small consistent nuclear islands among incoming root fibers. Trigeminal hypoglossal nuclei received direct cells, not facial nucleus. most prominent appeared reticular formation, including supratrigeminal Smaller extended into main sensory nucleus, subnucleus oralis, solitary tract.
