摘要: The complex shear viscosity of sterically stabilized colloidal dispersions different-sized silica particles (radius a=28–76 nm) was measured with torsion resonators and a nickel-tube resonator between 80 Hz 200 kHz. volume fraction the samples varied from 0.10 to 0.60. In intermediate-frequency region, real imaginary parts decay as ω-1/2 their limiting values. viscoelastic behavior can be described in terms one relaxation strength G1 series times τp=τ1 p-2. scales dimensionless a2G1/D0ηs, time D0τ1/a2, angular frequency a2ω/D0. groups a2G1/D0ηs D0τ1/a2 are function only. At higher fractions high-frequency values part viscosity, η∞’, corroborate calculated by Beenakker [Physica 128A, 48 (1984)].
