摘要: Exploitation of hybrid vigour is quite possible in cross-pollinated crops. However, pigeonpea a grain legume crop with moderate level cross-pollination (20–70%), which mainly aided by insect pollinators. As first step, hybrids based on genetic male sterility (GMS) were developed pigeonpea, but the seed production technique not farmer-friendly, because plot 50% population, are male-fertile female rows, have to be eliminated time before contamination.
