摘要: We report ultrafast-laser-induced photochemical, structural, and morphological changes in a polyimide film irradiated at the polymer-glass interface back-incident geometry. Back-illumination creates locally hot material leading to confined photochemical change through blister formation. The laser-induced resulted new absorption luminescence properties visible region. laser-treated exhibited photoluminescence anisotropy resulting from formation of ordered polymer upon irradiation by linearly polarized ultrashort laser pulses. Confocal fluorescence microscopy similar observations bulk. Reflection-absorption infrared spectroscopy X-ray photoelectron together indicated confinement chemical interface.
