摘要: Herein, the highly multifunctional cotton fabric surfaces were designed with excellent coloration, UV-protection function, and antimicrobial activity. These functions developed by in-situ synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) into surface using a simple green one-pot "UV-reduction" method. Cotton fabrics pretreated non-anionic detergent, immersed alcoholic nitrate solution (concentration ranging from 100 to 500ppm), squeezed remove excess then exposed UV-irradiation (range 320-400nm) for 1h. The influence on thermal, chemical, optical biological properties was discussed in details. promotes reducing Ag+ ions act as seed medium Ag NPs formation "heterogeneous nucleation". Increasing concentration (from 500ppm) results particle size (distribution) 50-100nm. Interestingly, exhibited different localized Plasmon resonance causing coloration color shades bright dark brown fastness properties. treated also show high protecting against UV-transmission (reduction 65%) Escherichia coli growth (99%). side-effects UV-reduction process are further investigated.
