Measuring the External Solids Flux in a CFB boiler

摘要: In circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers, the flow rate of externally recirculated material is important, since it influences combustion, fluid dynamics, solids segregation and heat transfer. However, in CFB boilers (as well as other industrial units), recirculation difficult to determine, no standard method available measure directly. this work, a methodology for measurement external solid flux developed, based on mass balances over parts return loop boiler. Continuous measurements temperatures rates gas water entering exiting different sections are needed determine both instantaneous time-averaged rates. The was evaluated Chalmers 12 MWth boiler with good results.
