摘要: Infestations caused by the mountain pine beetle (MPB) can be seen as complex spatio-temporal process with severe ecological impacts on forest environment. In order to manage and prevent insect infestation reduce significant loss it is necessary improve knowledge about process. The main objective of this research study design implement a model based decision trees (DT) mashie learning (ML) technique forecast spatial propagation MPB infestation. implemented in Bulkley-Nechako region British Columbia, Canada using data sets for three time points 2004, 2008 2012. results indicate that derived DT accurately characterize relationships between considered factors propagation. developed method used estimate future spread patterns infestations.
