摘要: Abstract Three cyclic pressure loads (10 minutes "on" and 5 "off") of 30 or 75mmHg were applied to the flat anterior surface tibia on 11 able bodied (AB) nine spinal cord injured (SCI) subjects. Transcutaneous PO 2 (TcPO ) PCO (TcPCO ), laser Doppler (LD) skin blood flow, velocity, volume, depth leg indentation (LI) recorded. In AB subjects mean TcPO decreased from 31.5 27.2mmHg with 30mmHg load, contrast for SCI 32.3 7.3mmHg (significantly different group at p , LD LI data support hypothesis that have a reduced vascular response loading thus may be more susceptible develop sores physiological reasons. The greatest difference is in load range where autoregulation can observed.
