摘要: Abstract A modified basic protein, film method of spreading RNA in a strongly denaturing solvent for examination the electron microscope has been developed and applied to determine size HeLa mitochondrial specific ribosomal components. Length measurements on purified 12 s 16 rRNA, mixtures two, with 18 cytoplasmic have given molecular lengths 0.27 μ, 0.42 0.55 μ s, rRNA's. If these are proportional weight, if weight rRNA is taken as 0.71 × 10 6 , determined by sedimentation equilibrium, weights components 0.35 0.54 respectively. These values good agreement relative predicted from velocity measurements, but not based gel electrophoresis.
