摘要: Seven cases of nontropical sprue (gluten enteropathy) are described in which there was an increase the ileal fold pattern depicted on barium examination small bowel. In five these patients a decrease jejunal pattern. This combination created reversed appearance normal small-bowel radiographic is distinctive for and reflects chronic inflammation atrophy jejunum compensatory hypertrophy (adaptation) ileum. usually indicates long standing disease should heighten awareness to potential malignant complications.
