摘要: Latinas are the largest, fastest growing female ethnic minority group in USA, and also report lowest levels of physical activity. Following framework social ecological model, this review examines unique environmental factors that influence activity Latinas. Research shows receive little support for despite having large, close-knit networks. Interventions incorporating components generally efficacious. face many barriers, including crime, heat, traffic, lack facilities a fear immigration enforcement, there have been few attempts to address barriers Latino communities. Successful future interventions will need consider affecting Latinas, help learn incorporate networks into participation.
