摘要: Assessment of caries experience based on the person rather than tooth opens possibility for qualitative descriptions in a population, as well study specific factors associated with different experiences. The Head Start population adjacent fluoridated communities was divided into two parts. It purpose part one to determine prevalence patterns (presumably etiologies). Of children, 39 percent were caries-free; 32 had carious lesions only pit-and-fissure defects molars; 6.5 hypoplastic defects; 11 facial-lingual lesions, compatible "nursing caries"; and 11.5 approximal no child rampant caries. second compared lifestyle variables patterns. Statistically significant differences or trends found between caries-free children those smooth-surface mother's educational level, time spent grandparents, perceived primary reason cavities, tendency permit eat sweets without restriction. No having defects.
