摘要: Abstract Nodulation and host-specific recognition of legumes such as peas Vicia spp. are encoded by the nodulation (nod) genes Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae. One these genes, nodO, has been shown to encode an exported protein that contains a multiple tandem repeat nine amino acid domain. This domain was found be homologous repeated sequences in group bacterial proteins includes haemolysin, cyclolysin, leukotoxin two proteases. These secreted mechanism does not involve N-terminal signal peptide. The NodO is present growth medium bacteria induced for nod gene expression, partial sequencing purified showed there no cleavage protein. It suggested internally haemolysin may involved Ca2(+)-mediated binding erythrocytes we show can bind 45Ca2+. proposed interact directly with plant root cells Ca2(+)-dependent way, thereby mediating early stage occurs between its host legume.
