摘要: The role of radial glial cells as guides for migrating neurons is well established, whereas their precursor less understood. Here we examined the composition and proliferation in mouse telencephalon during development. We found that almost all proliferate throughout neurogenesis. They consist three distinct subsets identified by immunostaining antigens RC2, astrocyte-specific glutamate transporter (GLAST), brain-lipid-binding protein (BLBP). In addition, GLAST, BLBP antisera label with different morphologies thereby cover entire progenitor pool developing cerebral cortex. differential expression these differ also transcription factor cell cycle characteristics. Moreover, content seems correlated to fate progeny. BLBP-negative precursors are detected only neurogenesis persist into postnatal stages solely rostral migratory stream, a region ongoing contrast, an enriched population multipotential cells, neurosphere cultures derived from adult or embryonic telencephalon, immunoreactive BLBP. Taken together, have novel, functionally CNS cells.
