摘要: In order to produce a vaporizing combustion chamber instead of brazing, laser welding was applied the joint between SUS304 and brass, since it is now fabricated by brazing after many complicated processes.Materials used in were 0.6 mm thick Cu-30%Zn alloy (brass) 0.5 austenitic stainless steel SUS304. Stainless lap-welded Cu-Zn alloy.As result leak test under 0.4 MPa pressure, leaks recognized weld bead. The observation means EPMA microscopy indicated that caused cracks which resulted from liquid-metal embrittlement brass or solidification cracking at grain boundaries steel. number increased with increasing volume melted alloy, when lower than 3 vol.% SUS304, few occurred. Therefore, eliminate re-melting only surface conducted beam welding. By elimination process, eliminated completely ; consequently, no leakage except conditions occurred beads.
