摘要: To investigate the temporal stability, or progressivity, of neuropsychological (NP) impairment in schizophrenia, 50 patients with first episode (FE) schizophrenia and healthy controls were given a battery tests at outset study after two-year interval. Both patient control groups balanced respect to age, gender, education parental socioeconomic status. Summary rating scales for semantic memory (SEM), visual (VIM), verbal learning (VBL), visual-motor processing attention (VSM) abstraction/flexibility (ABS) constructed. FE schizophrenics showed improvement VBL, stability function SEM, VSM ABS absence VIM. While performance VIM is influenced by medication status, SEM seems be trait-related stable; however, state-related. Our data suggest that there no proof assumption progressive deterioration NP functioning during few years illness.
