摘要: Nine consecutive patients with both fulminant hepatic failure and acute oliguric renal were treated either by daily machine haemofiltration (MHF), or continuous arterio-venous (CAVHF). Six received a total of twenty treatments MHF four CAVHF, mean duration treatment 56 hours, range 24-160. Intracranial pressure (ICP) was measured using subdural catheter. During MHF, the ICP increased from 8.9 +/- 1.4 mmHg at start filtration to 14.8 2.1 end (p less than 0.05), whereas there no corresponding increase during same period time CAVHF treatment, fell, but not significantly 19.4 4.8 11.2 2.3 mmHg. The greater 25 on eleven occasions requiring bolus mannitol propofol, such surges in recorded. This suggests that is be preferred intermittent management hepatorenal failure.
