摘要: Abstract Porous carbon xerogels synthesized in a previous study were investigated as catalysts supports. The support chosen was micro-mesoporous xerogel obtained from the pyrolysis of resorcinol–formaldehyde resin whose synthesis variables fixed at suitable values. Palladium and silver deposited on this tailored texture by co-impregnation using solution palladium nitrates nitric acid water. Several prepared with various Pd Ag global contents, latters being measured experimentally. Alloy particles, detected all bimetallic samples, studied combination techniques that enabled us to obtain their size well bulk surface composition. When present, fraction unalloyed also calculated. characterization data related results catalytic tests for selective hydrodechlorination 1,2-dichloroethane into ethylene. Results show when content is too high, pure particles are formed alloy composition remains constant. As consequence, constant lead similar results.
