摘要: More than 120 years ago, Peter Hermann Stillmark in his doctoral thesis presented 1888 to the University of Dorpat, gave earliest step study proteins that have a very interesting feature: ability agglutinate erythrocytes. These were initially referred as hemagglutinins or phytoagglutinins, since they originally isolated from extracts plants [1]. The first hemagglutinin by was extracted seeds castor tree (Riccinus communis) and named ricin [2]. This strongly used Paul Ehrlich model antigens for immunological studies [2,3].
