Direct heterogeneous electron transfer reactions of Trametes hirsuta Laccase at bare and thiol-modified gold electrodes

摘要: Direct electron transfer reactions of high redox potential Trametes hirsuta laccase on bare and 15 different thiol-modified gold electrodes were studied using cyclic voltammetry potentiometry: Well-pronounced Faradaic processes obtained for the enzyme adsorbed gold, whereas reproducible stable electrochemistry was only when 4-aminothiophenol used modification. Moreover, laccase-4-aminothiophenol-modified electrode showed highest value steady-state under aerobic conditions equal to 660 mV vs. NHE compared with other thiol modified also immobilized enzyme. However, this is still too far away from equilibrium oxygen laccase-modified graphite electrode, which a well-pronounced process bioelectroreduction shown at 800 NHE. Possible mechanisms function are discussed in correlation structure orientation surface various electrodes.
